Sylvia's Wedding

Sylvia and Gordon have been going out together for a number of years whilst still living with their respective parents. One night, showing an out-of-character burst of initiative, Gordon proposes marriage to Sylvia over a tray of fish 'n' chips and the scene is set for domestic chaos! Gordon's father is a type you love to hate - A working class snob! And he is determined that his son will not waste his life by marrying beneath him. But he is by no means the only obstacle to Sylvia's matrimonial ambitions and the pathway to the altar is strewn with family skeletons, moral dilemmas, financial crisis, costume catastrophes, damaged lavatories and a lame budgie! Can poor Sylvia navigate her way through?
