OBITUARY - REMEMBERING LESLEY JACKSON

It is with much sadness that we share with you the sudden passing of Lesley Jackson. Lesley was well known in the amdram circuits and was an avid follower & supporter for many years here at the Rossendale players. Also very recently performing on our stage in the production of Albert knobs, which she won an ACT award for. Lesley was nothing but kind, welcoming and great company to everyone around her. Lesley will be remembered by so many of us for her warmth, her quick wit, and that wonderful natural comic timing that could raise a laugh with just a look… reminding us that theatre — and life — should never take itself too seriously. Thank you for the love, memories, and laughter shared in her honour. Lesley will be remembered with enormous affection — and with plenty of smiles, exactly as she would have wanted (and no doubt delivered with perfect comic timing). She will be greatly missed and we wish Lesley’s family our deepest sympathies for their loss.
