Countdown to Curtain Up!

Last Post: Wednesday 13th March 2024

Our next production starts this coming Saturday, 16th March at 7.30pm, written by Peter Quilter and directed by the marvellous Dawn Rowe. It tells the story of five women who inherit a dilapidated old theatre and set about restoring it. As a play, it is hilarious and moving in equal measure with an important message: LOVE YOUR LOCAL THEATRE. As always, Sunday is our Charity performance - this time in aid of Save the Children UK, the world’s leading independent organization for children. Their vision is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. Their mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. A percentage of our ticket sales from the night, as well as monies from the raffle, are donated directly to the charity - one that is very close to the heart of this production’s rehearsal prompt, Anne Riding. Tickets are on sale as always on Ticketsource. https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/therossendaleplayers Grab yours today!
