Eric Swan has been defrauding the DSS for two years by claiming benefit for an army of fictitious lodgers, all with fictitious ailments and extended families for which they can claim! His wife Linda, however, is oblivious to all this. Eric finds that it is now all getting too complicated, and tries desperately to extricate himself by killing off is make-believe tenents. But when the lodger opens the door to an Inspector from the DSS... Mayhem follows!
